The Citroën DS3 Cabrio is the latest advance in the distinctively styled DS line. A cabrio version of the multi-award winning DS3, this exciting new model features intelligent design and dazzling looks to make top-down driving considerably easier and even more enjoyable.

Launched almost three years ago, DS3 has proved an outstanding success for Citroën with over 200,000 sold worldwide, including more than 36,000 registered in the UK alone. Boasting enhanced personalisation possibilities with a range of roof designs, a series of special editions, a Racing version and Ultra Prestige models, DS3 has played a major role in boosting awareness of the expanding DS line. Overall, sales of DS3, DS4 and DS5 have already topped the 300,000 mark globally in just 30 months.

Citroën DS3 Cabrio boasts all the hallmarks that have made the hatchback so successful - bold styling, sophisticated refinement, extensive personalisation and a thoroughly enjoyable driving experience - combined with the pleasure of al-fresco motoring.

The Citroën DS3 Cabrio leads the way for occupant space as the only five-seater in its class and features the biggest boot in the segment at 245-litres VDA. The electrically operated folding roof can be fully opened or closed at speeds of up to 75mph - which is also unique in this segment - and takes just 16 seconds to fully close. Top down driving has never been so easy.

The Outside
Citroën DS3 Cabrio retains the hatchback's unique personality, with the same compact, dynamic proportions and bold styling choices from the 'floating' two-tone roof and 'shark fin' B-pillar to the sculpted front-end with its distinctive LED light signature.

Maintaining the DS line's extensive customisation levels, Citroën DS3 Cabrio is available in seven body colours with three colour-coordinated roof designs for a choice of fourteen combinations. There are nine different wheel styles, to let owners express their personality even further, and buyers can specify 16" or 17" alloys in a range of colours and designs.

Extensive chrome detailing, such as across the top of the boot lid and on the side rubbing strips, highlights the model's charismatic design, with dark tinted rear windows adding a further stylish touch.

At the rear, Citroën DS3 Cabrio boasts an eye-catching three-dimensional LED light signature. The all-new 3D LED tail-light technology was inspired by the designs on Citroën's Revolte and Survolt concept cars. The central part of the light is comprised of a rectangular set of 31 LEDs with semi-reflecting mirrors that reflect the light into 'infinity'. A 15-LED blade on the upper part of the light emphasises the 3D unit and acts as both side and brake lights. A chrome-finished DS logo, in an embossed black DS setting, is also incorporated into the design.

Raise the roof
One of Citroën DS3 Cabrio's standout features is its electric fully retractable, high quality canvas roof, which can be operated at speeds of up to 75mph. Unique in the segment, this important feature allows drivers to react to the weather without having to stop or slow down - even when they are on the motorway.

A button on the overhead console controls the roof to three positions - intermediate, horizontal and total - with the roof fully opening or closing in just 16 seconds. Even in the horizontal setting, rear passengers get a completely clear view overhead.

The roof is in three designs - Black, Infinite Blue and Moondust Grey DS Monogramme. The sophisticated Infinite Blue canvas comprises delicate hues of blue and violet. The visual effect is created by a weave of three different coloured threads, one of which is shiny, with each thread reacting differently to changes in light conditions. Referencing products from luxury goods manufacturers, the DS logo featured on the Monogramme canvas roof is a subtle design achieved by contrasting two 'Jacquard' grey tones with a Moondust Grey base.

The Inside
Inside, Citroën DS3 Cabrio offers a distinctive and sophisticated cabin for both the driver and passengers. There is white LED ambient lighting around the ceiling console and white lights in the instrument cluster. The high quality soft-top material delivers standard-setting soundproofing comparable to DS3 hatchback, with some of the best acoustic insulation against road noise and the elements in its class. When the roof is open, an aerodynamic front deflector provides optimum acoustic comfort by deflecting air currents and preventing air buffeting.

All-new upholstery choices are available, including Granite Blue leather. The décor on the dashboard strip, air vent surrounds and gear knob are colour-coded to the body paint and soft-top. There are six décor choices available - Aluminium effect, Gloss Black, White, Carbon Fibre effect, Infinite Blue and Moondust Grey.

Chrome and leather touches, on the gear knob and gear lever surround, handbrake and steering wheel further exemplify Citroën DS3 Cabrio's premium personality. For a sporty touch, aluminium drilled foot pedals are also available.

CRÉATIVE TECHNOLOGIE ONBOARD
Citroën DS3 Cabrio inherits all the convenient technology of the hatchback, including Citroën's integrated satellite navigation system, eMyWay, which features a high-resolution 7-inch colour widescreen, Europe-wide navigation and Bluetooth® and USB connectivity.

Rear parking sensors are standard across the range, providing added reassurance when parking with the roof down. For added occupant comfort, whatever the weather, automatic digital air conditioning is also available.

A CLASS APART
At 3.95m long, 1.71m wide and 1.46m high, Citroën DS3 Cabrio offers virtually the same amount of occupant space as DS3 hatchback and even retains the 60/40 split-folding rear bench. Accommodating up to five adults, which is a unique achievement in this class, all three rear occupants benefit from ample leg room and individual head rests.

The Citroën DS3 Cabrio offers a class leading boot with a capacity of 245-litres VDA. The tailgate also features an original opening mechanism, which uses a circular upwards motion allowing the boot to be fully opened even when parked close to obstructions. A new DS concept car presented at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. Citroën DS 5LS R is an all-new and unique version of the DS 5LS, which combines top-level performance with luxury styling.

High Performance
A nod to Citroën's World Rally Championship pedigree, DS 5LS R boasts a high performance powertrain, underpinned by a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine that develops 300bhp and torque of 400 Nm. The chassis has been lowered by 15mm, compared to the production version and the concept has wider front tracks and a sequential gearbox, controlled by paddles behind the steering wheel.

High-precision development has been applied to the chassis, brakes and suspension, while the focus on performance is visually underscored by the extensive use of real carbon fibre components.

Sporting Design
Citroën DS 5LS R remains faithful to the DS spirit of innovation and luxury, making a bold first impression. The sports styling is complemented by an anodised Carmine Red paint with a matt metallic finish. The concept confirms its 'R' status with wide side stripes in matt carbon grey on the front doors. The 'R' signature features extensively around the exterior of the concept - on the bonnet, at the rear and on the sides of the car.

Further carbon fibre components include the side signature trim, which extends across the top of the side windows to the boot, cutting through the rear quarter panel with a subtly drawn shark fin. The 'DS Wings' grille is finished in carbon grey dark chrome and the sporty 20-inch wheels are sculpturally designed and carbon-coloured to match the polished aluminium on the exterior and the touches of Carmine Red.

Luxury Cabin
Inside, Citroën DS 5LS R is all about luxury, with a wide range of exceptional materials in evidence. The cabin is fully lined with leather and Alcantara®, including the dashboard and steering wheel. The DS identity is reinforced throughout, with a three-fabric version of the DS 'watchstrap' upholstery - aniline full-grain leather, DS-embossed leather and Alcantara®. All-road design, lending the new version an assertive personality with specially designed wing extensions, lengthwise matte grey roof bars and matching 18-inch diamond-effect alloy wheels in matte grey, along with chrome-finished wing mirror housings and brushed aluminium protective fairing on the front and rear bumpers. These style attributes are combined with 15-mm higher ground clearance (at up to 70 km/h for Hydractive III+ versions). Optimal comfort, adapting to all road types, in particular thanks to Hydractive III+ suspension. This automotive world-exclusive Citroen technology manages body height in real time, keeping a constant ground clearance whatever the load. The new Citroen C4 Picasso is first and foremost a car of astonishing design. It takes advantage of the possibilities offered by the EMP2 platform to explore new forms of stylistic expression: reduced overhang (-70 mm at the front), a lower engine block and floor (between -40 mm and -50 mm for the engine, and -20 mm for the floor), and wider tracks (+82 mm at the front and +31 mm at the rear). The dynamic effect created is both forceful and intense.

The first action of designer Fréderic Soubirou was to create the side signature, a C shape in chrome that gives the side view of the new Citroen C4 Picasso its personality, while underlining the space available to passengers at front and rear. The side view with its sculpted panels conveys an impression of smooth power.

The front end marks a renewal in Citroen styling, with a more assertive engine compartment and a new look for the chevrons, reaching out to touch the spectacular high-tech lights. Slim LED daytime-running lights extend the line of the radiator grille, sitting just on top of the slender headlamps. Fog lamps add the finishing touch to this original light signature.

The rear LED lights, inspired by the Tubik, Survolt and Revolte concept cars, feature a profound, futuristic 3D effect. A new enveloping tailgate suggesting roominess and strength adds a dynamic touch to the rear view. When opened, the tailgate provides easy and generous boot access.

A loft-style interior
The new Citroen C4 Picasso features an uncluttered loft-style interior ambience. An impression reinforced by the panoramic windscreen, a standard feature, and the large glass roof that bathe the car in natural light. As in the previous-generation vehicle, the cabin features an exceptionally large glazed area (5.30 m2).

Travelling becomes a relaxing experience, with the exclusive Lounge Pack, comprising front massage seats, a "Relax" seat enabling the front passenger to stretch out his or her legs, and a Relax headrest on all seats for optimum neck support. The Citroen C4 Picasso applies business-class travel standards for all the passengers!

The loft-style design of the new Citroen C4 Picasso is also visible in the quality of the materials and the attention to detail. This vehicle is on a par with the best for perceived quality.

The dashboard, of asymmetric design, combines several colours and materials. The driver's side is primarily black, a colour with high-tech connotations, echoing the paler shade on the passenger side (Ardoise or Champagne depending on the colours selected) with a sparkle-effect finish. Satin-finish chrome and glossy black inserts enhance the overall effect. At the same time, particular attention was given to the door panels: the crossbar features an original pattern obtained by laser engraving. Sophistication and careful thought clearly went into every detail.

The seat design features a graphic effect that gives the two front seats the appearance of a one-piece bench. The new Citroen C4 Picasso is available with light-coloured Nappa leather inspired by the world of interior design, with the emphasis on elegance and comfort.

A full digital, full touch driving interface
The new Citroen C4 Picasso ships with a full digital driving interface that is both intuitive and attractive. The uncluttered dashboard is structured around two screens located in the central section: a 7" touchpad and a 12" panoramic HD screen.

Easy, relaxed driving
Looking beyond useful everyday functions such as hands-free access and start-up, a motorised tailgate and reversing camera, the new Citroen C4 Picasso ships with a range of innovations for easy, relaxed driving as:

• 360 Vision, an exclusive feature on this segment. Using the four cameras placed around the car, the driver can select a bird's eye view, a rear view alone, or a panoramic front view, useful for getting out of a garage! The system provides a complete view of the car's immediate environment, an extended field of vision that makes for easier manoeuvres.
• Park Assis: this function helps drivers looking for a parking space. It provides automatic assistance when manoeuvring into a space, whether parking in reverse or at an angle. All the driver has to do is to manage acceleration and braking. A valuable aid in the urban jungle!

Technologies serving safety
The new Citroen C4 Picasso is packed with technologies to anticipate events and to provide assistance as part of a safe and relaxed driving experience:

• An active cruise control function: a radar sensor in the front bumper maintains a constant distance with the vehicle in front by detecting any slowdown in speed and warning the driver. The system acts on the accelerator and engine brake to reduce or increase speed within a limit of 25 kph. When the road is clear, the car automatically returns to the set speed.
• The active driver and passenger front seatbelts are equipped with motors that pull the belt tight automatically in the event of danger for maximum protection. At the same time, in relation with the video LDWS, the belt vibrates to warn the driver if the car crosses a line.
• An image processing function for the miniature camera built into the interior door mirror, to manage automatic high beam operation, i.e. automatically activating and deactivating high beam lights depending on lighting and traffic conditions. This function is also used by the new-generation more predictive lane departure warning system (video LDWS).
• The ultrasonic blind spot monitoring system: an orange light in the angle of the door mirror warns drivers if a vehicle is present in their blind spot. Relying on four sensors in the front and rear bumpers, this system is active between 12 and 140 kph. It controls the area up to the exterior door mirror at the front, extending to around 5m behind the rear bumper and 3.5m on either side.
• Citroen eTouch, a service comprising, among other functions, a localised emergency call and assistance system (depending on the country), two free 24/7 services relying on a built-in SIM card, which ensure that the vehicle can be located promptly and assistance sent out in the event of an incident or accident.

These intelligent technologies make the road safer for drivers, passengers and others, to ensure that driving remains an enjoyable, relaxing experience. And for an even more relaxed attitude, the new Citroen C4 Picasso is set to cover 2.5 million km between now and the launch date as part of fine-tuning road tests encompassing several countries and a full range of situations, even the most extreme.

Architecture optimised for compact exterior dimensions and interior space
The new Citroen C4 Picasso creates a new architectural benchmark. The modular EMP2 platform allows a longer wheelbase for increased cabin space. Compared with the previous-generation vehicle, the new Citroen C4 Picasso is more compact on the outside while offering more space on the inside:
    40 mm shorter for more compact dimensions,
    a wheelbase that is 55 mm longer (2,785 mm on the new C4 Picasso) for class-beating interior space,
    an additional 40 litres in the boot, for class-best capacity of 537 litres VDA, and up to 630 litres with the seats in row 2 pushed forward.

With these optimised dimensions (L: 4.43m / W: 1.83m / H: 1.61m), along with electric power steering and a turning circle of 10.8m, the new Citroen C4 Picasso is an agile vehicle able to adapt to all driving situations.

The new Citroen C4 Picasso continues to set the standard in terms of modular design:

• In row 1, folding the passenger seat forwards increases loading space by more than 2.5 m as well as extending the field of vision of rear passengers.
• In row 2, the three individual seats are the same width. All three fold flat and can be tilted for increased comfort. They also feature fore-and-aft adjustment for increased flexibility. Knee space (159 mm) is on a par with the best-in-class.

The new Citroen C4 Picasso features a wide range of clever and convenient stowage compartments around the cabin. Such as the lit stowage compartment in the centre of the dashboard, with a jack, USB port and 220V socket, ideal for plugging in a Smartphone or tablet out of sight of prying eyes. Or the removable console on versions equipped with the clutchless gearbox, between the driver and passenger seats, to keep personal belongings within easy reach. Designed in Paris, the world's fashion and jewellery capital, the Wild Rubis concept car a new expression of DS line. Its unique profile combines the powerful lines of an SUV with the refined codes of the DS line.

Measuring 4.7m in length, 1.95m in width and 1.59m in height, the Brand's latest creation boasts an exceptionally long wheelbase of 2.9m. Impressive dimensions, conveying power and strength, inviting onlookers to step inside and meeting the needs of executive customers looking for a feature-rich and versatile vehicle. Sitting on its four 21" wheels, the DS Wild Rubis promises remarkable emotions at the wheel.

Wild and rebellious, yet refined and sophisticated. Its power is offset by the shapely profile and attractive details. The thoroughbred silhouette is decorated with a unique chrome signature on the side. The roof bars accentuate the impression of height, while hinting at a sense of power and drive, before blending into the bodywork and flow of the profile of the rear wing.

A HYPNOTIC STARE
Wild Rubis is a subliminal expression of the new front-end identity inaugurated by the Numéro 9 concept car. The front of the car is characterised by the three-dimensional relief of the radiator grille, decorated with a DS emblem that is underlined by a shaft of light.

The grille then flows into the unique full-LED headlights, made up of three mobile lighting modules, surrounded by scrolling indicator lights at the base and a tuning fork-shaped light signature on the edge. A real jewel that gives the Wild Rubis a bold, hypnotic and unique stare.

A Unique Signature
The new arrangement of the lights at the rear appears to be part of the raised tailgate. Just like a jewel, the glass of the rear lights is encased in chrome, further enhancing the light signature, whilst a subtle lighting effect on the DS emblem creates an impression of depth. The foot of the sculptural rear tailgate is highlighted by the chrome finish, incorporating the twin exhaust pipes.

The Very Essence of the DS Line
Every detail has been addressed with the utmost care, making the Wild Rubis concept car a worthy heir to the 1955 DS that embodies all the refinement of the DS line in style. All the distinctive traits of the DS line are concentrated in this concept car. The most expressive include the side chrome signature, the multitude of sculptured details in the metal, the front and rear light signature and the finish of the noble materials, such as the guilloche pattern on the hub caps.

The finely etched DS pattern fades away in the centre of the wheel, allowing the textured paint to stand out in all its splendour. And like a jewel in its case, the rear lights are decorated with a chrome DS emblem, embedded in the black, stamped DS pattern. A finish that was inaugurated by the DS3 Cabrio.

Genesis
The origins of Citroen Cactus date back to the reveal of the C-Cactus concept car at the 2007 Frankfurt show. C-Cactus was a radical automotive approach that posed a number of key questions: What do motorists expect from cars in today's world? And which equipment and features really count? The fascinating exercise pushed engineers and designers to make sweeping changes and set problems differently in order to explore new solutions. The pragmatic approach eschewed the superfluous to concentrate on what makes motorists feel good. The end result, Citroen Cactus, is a manifest that previews forthcoming models in the C line.

Pure and functional styling
The styling of Citroen Cactus marries the aesthetic to the practical, with designers having sought to find the right volumes and extend efficiency to the smallest details. The idea was to keep only the essential, and optimise that essence to obtain a form of natural perfection. The approach allowed the designers to break free from classic automotive cues and explore ingenious solutions to bring customers real equipment and features.

The body styling of Citroen Cactus seems original and obvious, both at the same time, lingering easily in the memory like that of all great cars that have marked their time. The styling is easy to identify, with:

• Pure and smooth surfaces in pearlescent white
• Flowing, aggression-free shapes
• Floating quarterlight and roof

The dashboard design was made possible by using a 100% digital interface and by optimising the organisation of the driver's station, in particular by:

IMPRESSIVE AND REASONABLE ON-ROAD PERFORMANCE
The new Citroen C3 is equally at ease in the city and out on the open road, with well-balanced road manners, ultra-controlled mass, optimised drag of 0.30, and a range of responsive and efficient engines.

The new Citroen C3 is powered by the new-generation Pure Tech petrol engines, with 3 cylinders and a 1 or 1.2 litre capacity. These power plants are economical on fuel and CO2 emissions but extremely lively in use. Some 52 patents were filed in the development of the new engine generation in order to bring down weight and bulk, optimise combustion and reduce friction, the aim being to cut fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by around 25% while making the power plants more responsive. In short, the Pure Tech engines provide excellent performance with no detriment to pleasure. The VTi 68 and VTi 82 engines achieve remarkably low fuel consumption, between 4.3 and 4.5 l/100 km, and CO2 emissions, between 99 and 104 g/km. The VTi 120 engine, available with a manual or automatic gearbox, rounds out the petrol engine offer.
