 Jeep Wrangler Polar, 2014

In order to highlight the most adventurous soul and legendary 4x4 capabilities of the iconic Jeep Wrangler, the new limited-edition, customised Wrangler Polar model will be revealed on the Jeep stand at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in the four-door Wrangler Unlimited configuration, and will boast an all-new Hydro Blue exterior colour matched to a Black interior.

On the heels of the success of recently launched - and sold out - limited-edition customisations of Jeep Wrangler, this new special model sports a unique trim level dedicated to all those enthusiasts searching for adventure and absolute performance in extreme driving conditions. Featuring exclusive styling cues, 18" Gloss Black alloy wheels, body-colour hardtop and original Mopar accessories, the new Jeep Wrangler Polar will be available in Europe in the first quarter of 2014, in both two- and four-door versions, powered by the brilliant 2.8-litre turbo diesel or the powerful 3.6-litre petrol engine.

Jeep Wrangler Polar takes its cue from the severe climate and extreme conditions that characterise the Antarctic region. The "Polar" badge located on the vehicle's side next to the front fender flares shows off the 78° S and 106° E coordinates that correspond to the location of Vostok in Antarctica: the exact point where the absolute severest temperature in the world was recorded at -89.2° C (-128.56° F).

The new Jeep Wrangler Polar was designed to express the freedom of going beyond the known limits to venture into unexplored territories: an experience that only Wrangler enthusiasts can enjoy, thanks to the reliability and safety granted by a vehicle featuring benchmark technology and unmatched off-road expertise achieved in more than seventy years of history. With its hostile routes and severe climate, the Antarctic region offers the driving conditions that the iconic Jeep Wrangler was engineered to conquer.

Based on the Jeep Wrangler Sahara model, the exterior of the new Wrangler Polar boasts unique features that contribute to distinguish it aesthetically from all the other models in the Jeep lineup. First of all, the new front grille, featuring unique Gloss Black accents on the lamp throats, and the new hard spare-tyre cover are both new styling cues introduced specifically for this limited-edition model. Further exterior appointments characterizing the Wrangler Polar are the Powerdome hood and the body-colour hardtop with deep-tint sunscreen glass. A Gloss Black Jeep logo above the front grille and Gloss Black 18" alloy wheels enhance the distinctive look of the vehicle. Completing the exterior appointment of the new Jeep Wrangler Polar special-edition model is the unique, three-colour hood decal, featuring the outline of mountains, and the black fuel-filler door from Mopar.

The interior features Black leather seats enhanced by Pearl White accent stitching and "Polar" logo embroidered on the upper portion of the backrests. Standard equipment also includes heated front seats and a black leather-wrapped steering wheel with Pearl White stitching and high-gloss Ceramic White painted bezels. Pearl White accent stitching is found also on the armrests and floor console lid. The passenger-side dashboard grab bar and dashboard vent rings are finished in high-gloss Ceramic White to create the contrasting effect of the light on Antarctic glaciers.

The exclusive cabin of the Jeep Wrangler Polar special edition also features an all-new cluster overlay with rings painted high-gloss Ceramic White and surrounding a blue instrument background with "Polar" logo. Mopar tread-pattern slush mats complete the interior appointments of the new Wrangler Polar.

In addition to the all-new Hydro Blue colour that adds to the unique look of the vehicle displayed in Frankfurt, the Jeep Wrangler Polar special-edition model is also available in Billet Silver Metallic and Bright White exterior colours.

Engineered to take on the most challenging off-road trails, Jeep Wrangler Polar is equipped with the Dana 30 front axle and powerful Dana 44 rear axle. Legendary Wrangler capability is achieved through the standard Command-Trac NV241 part-time, two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio. In order to handle any off-road track in utmost safety, the new Wrangler Polar model comes standard with the Trac-Lok anti-spin rear differential. This particular differential replaces the manual rear-axle locker and is a torque-sensitive mechanical unit that works to maintain traction when travelling on slippery or rough road surfaces, such as on sand, gravel, snow or ice. Trac-Lok automatically distributes the available torque to the rear wheel with the most traction, thus helping to reduce wheel spin caused by lack of traction in the other rear wheel.

The standard equipment for on-board comfort includes automatic climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated controls, heated front seats, height-adjustable driver seat, Electronic Vehicle Information Centre (EVIC) and cruise control.

Optional equipment available on Jeep Wrangler Polar is the Dual Top configuration that offers the possibility to have both the Sunrider® soft top and the Freedom TopTM hardtop options in one package. A further optional feature is the Polar Pack 1 special package offering front side air bags, UConnectTM multi-media infotainment and navigation system with 6.5-inch touchscreen, 40-gigabyte hard disk, USB compatibility, AUX port and DVD player.

The new limited-edition model will be powered by the efficient 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine matched to an automatic or manual transmission, or by the 3.6-litre V-6 petrol engine paired to the automatic gearbox. The 2.8-litre CRD engine delivers 200 hp (147 kW) of power at 3,600 rpm and 460 Nm of torque at 1,600 - 2,600 rpm when paired to the five-speed automatic transmission. On models with a six-speed manual gearbox, the 2.8-litre engine delivers 200 hp and 410 Nm of torque at 2,600 - 3,200 rpm. The 3.6-litre V-6 petrol engine of the Wrangler range, available in selected markets on this special series in addition to the 2.8-litre CRD engine, delivers 284 hp (209 kW) and 347 Nm of torque and is paired to the five-speed automatic transmission.

With a 52 cm longer wheelbase and a larger cabin that can comfortably accommodate five passengers, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is the evolution of the classic Wrangler. Jeep Wrangler Unlimited combines the exceptional Jeep off-road capabilities with the comfort and versatility of an everyday car, turning the off-road champion into a four-door 4x4 convertible.

Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited are available in the Sport, Sahara and Rubicon trim levels and are all powered by the 2.8-litre turbo diesel Common-Rail engine featuring Stop/Start technology. The 3.6-litre V-6 petrol engine is available only on the Sahara model of both Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited.

 Jeep Patriot, 2014

For 2014 the Jeep Patriot boasts improved on-road performance, compliments of a new six-speed automatic transmission. With unmatched Jeep capability in all weather conditions, fuel economy up to 30 miles per gallon (mpg), more than 30 safety and security features and a starting U.S. Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $15,995, the 2014 Jeep Patriot is the best priced SUV in America.

The 2014 Patriot is unmistakably a Jeep, designed to appeal to compact-SUV buyers who want traditional Jeep styling with best-in-class off-road capability at an affordable price.

Patriot offers consumers segment-leading 4x4 capability and excellent fuel efficiency along with rugged exterior styling and clever interior features.

Packed with standard features that provide value and convenience for drivers and passengers, the 2014 Jeep Patriot standard features include: front seat-mounted side air bags, electronic stability control, electronic roll mitigation, Hill-start Assist, anti-lock brakes, illuminated cup holders, sunscreen glass, fog lamps, removable/ rechargeable flashlight, outside temperature display, rear fold-flat 60/40 folding seat, rear window defrost and wiper, tilt steering column, cruise control and sliding visors with mirror.

A U connect Media Center with iPod interface, Sirius XM Radio, navigation with Sirius XM Travel Link, power sunroof, a premium audio system with nine Boston Acoustic speakers, articulating liftgate speakers, and fold-flat rear seats are some of the available features that make the 2014 Jeep Patriot the perfect compact SUV, enabling drivers and passengers to enjoy any adventure.

The Jeep Patriot continues to offer an All-weather Capability Group option which includes Goodyear 17-inch all-terrain tires, all-season floor mats, daytime running headlamps, engine block heater and tow hooks, making the Patriot the most capable compact SUV off-road and in all weather conditions.

6F24 six-speed Power Tech automatic transmission
Available for the first time in most 2014 Jeep Patriot models is the world-class 6F24 six-speed automatic transmission. Independently developed by Power Tech and refined for application in the 2014 Jeep Patriot, the six-speed automatic is fully electronic and designed for fuel efficiency and improved performance.

Compact and lightweight, the 6F24 eliminated many potential extra engineering efforts from a packaging standpoint with the chassis layout. Overall length of the transmission is 378.5 mm.

The six-speed automatic features a closely aligned 5.46 gear spread that provides nearly imperceptible shifting from launch through highway speeds. With a 4.21 first gear and standard Auto Stick for manual-like shifting, acceleration characteristics deliver fun-to-drive excitement.

With a 0.77 sixth gear, engine rpm is significantly reduced at highway speeds for optimal fuel efficiency. The stepped shift schedule across all six gears is designed for optimal fuel economy in city driving as well. Customers will notice extremely quiet operation throughout the gear ranges with the use of noise-resistant gears that effectively reduce noise, vibration and harshness (NVH).

The final drive ratio when mated to the 2.0-liter I-4 engine is 3.648. When mated to the 2.4-liter I-4 engine both the 4x2 and 4x4 versions will have a final drive ratio of 3.367.

The new six-speed transmission also helps reduce cost of ownership and maintenance costs with its fill-for-life design. There is no transmission dipstick, and transmission filter or fluid changes are not required under normal driving conditions. Low-viscosity fluid is used to improve fuel economy by enabling quicker operating temperatures on the transmission to reduce drag on internal components.

Segment-leading capability
The 2014 Jeep Patriot offers customers unsurpassed 4x4 off-road capability with Jeep Freedom Drive II.
Jeep Patriot is available in three drivetrain configurations. In addition to the standard front-wheel-drive system, it also is available with Freedom Drive I and Freedom Drive II.

Jeep Freedom Drive I 4x4 is an available full-time, active four-wheel-drive system with lock mode designed to give drivers year-round assurance with the ability to handle rough weather and low-traction conditions. This active four-wheel-drive system is recommended for daily use, including slick conditions that come with rain and light snow. Freedom Drive I also features a lockable center coupling, giving drivers the ability to put the Jeep Patriot in four-wheel-drive lock mode to handle deep snow, sand and other low-traction surfaces.

The Jeep Freedom Drive II 4x4 Off-road Package is an available four-wheel-drive system that delivers Jeep Trail Rated capability in Patriot form. The Freedom Drive II Off-road Package includes a second-generation continuously-variable transaxle with low range (CVT2L) that engages when the off-road mode is activated, 19:1 crawl ratio, 17-inch all-terrain tires and aluminum wheels, a full-size spare tire, skid plates, tow hooks, fog lamps and manual seat height adjuster. The available Freedom Drive II Off-road Package is recommended for off-road situations that include steep grades, occasional wheel lift and rock or log climbing.

The Jeep Patriot's powertrain is designed to deliver world-class performance in all weather conditions, with exceptional fuel economy and refinement, all at an affordable, value-packed price.

The Jeep Patriot features a standard 2.0-liter I-4 World Engine for the 2014 Patriot Sport and Latitude models that delivers 158 horsepower (117 kW) and 141 lb.-ft. (191 N•m) of torque coupled with the continuously-variable transmission II (CVT2), and delivers 30 mpg on the highway when mated to the five-speed manual transmission.

The proven 2.4-liter I-4 World Engine produces 172 horsepower (129 kW) and 165 lb.-ft. (224 N•m) of torque, is available on all models and is standard on the Limited. This 2.4-liter World Engine has dual variable-valve timing (VVT) on both intake and exhaust camshafts, which helps optimize the torque curve at all speeds and produces more power, better fuel economy and smoother, quieter operation than engines without dual VVT. Dual VVT is a technology typically not available on vehicles sold in the United States in the Jeep Patriot's price class. The Patriot's 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a five-speed manual transaxle in front-wheel drive configuration delivers 23 mpg in the city, and 28 mpg on the highway.

The Jeep Patriot also features a standard five-speed manual transaxle on the Patriot Sport model, a new six-speed automatic transmission that is available on the Patriot Sport model and standard on the Latitude and Limited models and the CVT2L transmission on vehicles with Freedom Drive II. The Patriot's CVT2L is a second-generation CVT that Chrysler Group engineers calibrated for a pleasing engine response and precise ratio control.

 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, 2014

Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT owners have come to expect - and appreciate - a vehicle that is powerful and refined, luxurious and functional, muscular and stylish. For 2014, Grand Cherokee SRT checks all of those boxes - while also delivering unexpected delights.

Enhancements for the 2014 model year include an all-new, fully electronic eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers improved fuel economy, significantly improved towing capacity, hardware and software revisions that further heighten Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT's fun-to-drive factor during a daily commute or for more spirited driving on the race track.

Outside, the new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT sports styling that is even more aggressive than the previous model. Design enhancements for 2014 include a new signature LED character lamp treatment, a brawnier grille, a new, one-touch liftgate and a new rear spoiler.

Inside, Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT customers are treated to a new 8.4-inch touchscreen that displays a wealth of SRT-exclusive Performance Pages data. A new launch control button is situated behind the new T-handle shifter on the center console, and a redesigned SRT-exclusive three-spoke, heated steering wheel with more ergonomically efficient paddle shifters, features a host of comfort, convenience and connectivity controls.

Awe-inspiring powertrain
For 2014, Grand Cherokee SRT owners get three additional gears from their transmission: an all-new 8HP70 eight-speed automatic. Fully electronic, it features on-the-fly shift-map changing.

For an even sportier, more driver-controlled experience, the 8HP70 eight-speed transmission can be manually shifted using newly redesigned, more pronounced, ergonomically efficient steering-wheel paddle controls.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT features a new Eco Mode for 2014 that optimizes the new transmission's shift schedule and extends the range of Fuel Saver Technology, which deactivates four cylinders when conditions allow. A button on the center stack allows driver's to engage Eco Mode for improved fuel economy.

The new eight-speed automatic transmission is specifically engineered to optimize shift quality and shift points for fuel economy, performance and drivability. The intelligent software takes into account variables including engine torque gradients, kick-down events, longitudinal and lateral acceleration, grade changes, friction detection and downshift detection to determine the appropriate shift map.

Additional parameters integrated into the control strategy include vehicle speed control, electronic stability control interaction and temperature. The result is automatic shifting that is ideally attuned to the performance requirements of almost any driving demand.

The new transmission is mated to the proven and powerful 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 with Fuel Saver Technology delivering 470 horsepower (351 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 465 lb.-ft. (630 N•m) of torque at 4,300 rpm and helps deliver greatly enhanced towing performance of 7,200 pounds - a 44-percent improvement over the 5,000-lb. towing capacity from the previous model.

For 2014, the new electronic T-handle shifter provides the flexibility for drivers to choose a transmission shift schedule independent from the Selec-Track system. Drive and Sport shifting can be selected via the T-handle with no effect on the chosen suspension, stability control and driveline torque split settings.

Also new for 2014 is a launch control system that mimics a professional driver's inputs to optimize Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT's performance by bringing engine, transmission, driveline, stability control, and suspension in line for a textbook launch. Controlled by a button behind the new T-handle shifter on the center console, the result is improved and more consistent straight-line acceleration. The performance experience of the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT is further accentuated by a change in transfer case proportioning and dynamic controls for the Selec-Track system when the vehicle is in Track Mode. When this mode is selected, 70 percent of the engine's torque is delivered to the rear wheels for a more pronounced rear-wheel-drive experience. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT drivers will notice a vehicle that is more responsive from mid-corner to exit.

Outstanding ride, handling and capability
The Grand Cherokee SRT rides on a short- and long-arm (SLA) independent front suspension with coil springs, Bilstein adaptive damping suspension (ADS), upper- and lower-control arms ("A" arms), and a stabilizer bar.

The rear suspension is a multi-link design with coil spring, Bilstein ADS, aluminum lower control arm, independent upper links (tension and camber), plus a separate toe link, and a stabilizer bar.

Software improvements to the retuned Selec-Track system further distinguish the five dynamic modes: Auto, Sport, Tow, Track, and Snow, enabling drivers to choose a vehicle setting that more ideally meets their requirements and ambient conditions. Drivers will find the torque split change in Track Mode provides a vehicle that is more responsive from mid-corner to exit and one that delivers faster lap times at their favorite track.

Benchmark braking
The new 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT delivers excellent braking performance, requiring only 116 feet to come to a full stop from 60 miles per hour (mph). Credit belongs to red-painted, Brembo six-piston (front) and four-piston (rear) calipers, and vented rotors at all four corners measuring 15 inches (front) and 13.8 inches (rear).

The Design
Starting with the performance-oriented and functional designs from the SRT (Street and Racing Technology) brand, the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT model builds on that success with new exterior and interior styling cues that convey an even higher level of opulence and power.

Aggressive and functional exterior
The blending of aggressive, upscale and functional styling of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is readily apparent up front, where the signature seven-slot upper grille with black screen insert has been shortened and is flanked by slimmer, adaptive, bi-xenon headlamps that are surrounded by a signature LED character lamp treatment. The iconic Jeep grille itself is larger, and the headlamps feature a unique black background to distinguish the new SRT model from other Jeep Grand Cherokee models, while further accenting their jewel-like appearance.

The new styling enhancements also enabled SRT designers to incorporate the headlamp washers into the headlamp housing for the first time - rather than on the bumper - for a cleaner, more functional appearance.

New, five-spoke 20-inch "Goliath" wheels with polished finish are standard and ride on standard Pirelli 295/45ZR20 Scorpion Verde all-season tires or available Pirelli P Zero Three-season tires. Available split five-spoke, 20-inch forged aluminum wheels feature the "Spider Monkey" design in Satin Carbon or SRT-exclusive Black Vapor Chrome finishes.

A new Grand Cherokee badge along the vehicle's sides feature a more distinct, more pronounced font.

The front light treatment of the new 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT is mirrored in back for a cohesive styling appearance and features larger tail lamps with signature LED lighting. To further emphasize the performance heritage of the SRT design, the tail lamps feature a black surround, creating the illusion of floating lamps.

Not an illusion is the all-new, more aerodynamically efficient, rear spoiler integrated into the all-new liftgate.

The new, one-touch liftgate delivers improved customer convenience, and features a new SRT badge that no longer carries the engine cylinder number reference. Rather than relying on a manual lever, the liftgate is operated electronically with the push of a button. For 2014, the flipper glass has been eliminated - greatly enhancing rearward visibility and reducing weight.

Standard 4-inch dual exhaust tips integrated into the lower fascia deliver the throaty exhaust note Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT enthusiasts expect from their vehicle and complete the rear styling cues.

The 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT will be available in the following exterior colors: Billet Silver Metallic Clear Coat, Bright White Clear Coat, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat, Deep Cherry Red Pearl Coat, Granite Crystal Pearl Coat, Maximum Steel Metallic Clear Coat and Redline Pearl Clear Coat.

Race-inspired and high-performance interior
The 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT delivers an interior that is opulent, functional and ideally suited for daily drives or more spirited performance driving on the track.

A new Uconnect 8.4AN touchscreen takes center stage - literally - and displays a wealth of information including the SRT-exclusive Performance Pages, which cite recent track times, lateral acceleration, 0-60 miles per hour (mph) times and much more. These readouts are displayed in full-color and can now be shared with other SRT enthusiasts via a built-in 3G connection.

On the center console, drivers will find a new T-handle shifter for the new eight-speed transmission that allows the driver to select between Drive and Sport shift schedules. Wrapped in grained leather, this advanced shifter further reinforces the brand's street and racing heritage. Behind the shifter is new launch control button highlighted by a color graphic - similar to the "Christmas tree"-type staging lights from the drag strip.

The standard, SRT-exclusive, leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel with a flat bottom is redesigned with a bevy of new comfort, convenience and connectivity controls and more pronounced and ergonomically efficient paddle shifters.

The new steering wheel is designed and positioned to provide optimal view of the new gauge cluster that now features a 7-inch full-color, customizable instrument display. This new screen allows drivers to select from a multitude of layout and information to be shown in the center of the gauge cluster.

True carbon fiber trim accent sweeps across the driver's door, instrument panel and front passenger door.

The available 825-watt, 19-speaker premium SRT performance audio surround-sound system from Harman Kardon offers world premier innovation, featuring a 32-volt tracking power supply (TPS) 12-channel Class D amplifier that delivers outstanding acoustics and brings multi-dimensional, quality sound for all interior occupants.

Green Edge speaker and amplifier technology offers superior sound quality and high sound pressure level outputs with minimum energy consumption. Green Edge amplifiers alone outperform traditional amplifier efficiency by up to 55 percent, representing a net efficiency of more than 90 percent in some cases. The speakers are tuned for maximum efficiency and perfectly matched to the amplifier output.

The system's 19 Green Edge high-efficiency speakers include nine tweeters, five mid-range speakers, two mid-woofers and three subwoofers located throughout the interior.

The 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT Laguna leather interior is available in two distinctive colors: Torque (black) and a new Sepia combination.

Available as part of the Sepia interior combination, a black Dynamica headliner and black pillars further accentuate SRT's upscale interior appearance.

Enhanced security, convenience and occupant safety
Uconnect Access is all-new to the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. Enabled by embedded cellular technology, the system affords direct communication with local 9-1-1 service personnel at the touch of a button - no waiting for go-between call-center operators.

In addition, the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT showcases advanced safety features from Forward Collision Warning - which alerts the driver to rapidly approaching traffic - to Blind-spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path detection, which aid drivers when changing lanes or in parking-lot situations.

 Jeep Cherokee EU-Version, 2014

The Jeep Cherokee is the mid-size Sport Utility Vehicle of the Jeep brand. In its fourth generation, the Cherokee has evolved into a completely new vehicle delivering to customers a fresh interpretation of the "Go anywhere, do anything" attitude of the legendary American brand. The new Jeep Cherokee powered by the efficient 2.0-liter Multijet II turbo diesel engine in combination with the new nine-speed automatic transmission is making its début at the 2014 Geneva International Motor Show.

The new Jeep Cherokee raises the bar in its segment and features a new sleek and athletic design, enhanced on-road driving dynamics and handling, legendary Jeep 4x4 capability, premium interior craftsmanship, innovative technology, new levels of efficiency, entertainment and comfort and 'five-star' safety and security features that recently allowed the vehicle to earn the 'best in class' designation from Euro NCAP in the Small Off-road 4X4 category.

Engineered to excel on any and all terrains, the new Jeep Cherokee expresses the synthesis between stylistic innovation and family tradition, legendary 4x4 capability and technology: features that are fully embodied in the new Limited model and in its alter ego, the 'off-road' specialist Trailhawk.

The new generation Jeep Cherokee is now available in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations, offering a choice of three new and sophisticated Jeep four-wheel-drive systems in order to ensure benchmark off-road capabilities under all driving conditions. The new Jeep Cherokee is also the first mid-size SUV to feature rear-axle disconnect, resulting in reduced energy loss when 4x4 capability isn't needed and ensuring improved fuel efficiency. The rear-axle disconnect, seamlessly switches between two- and four-wheel drive for full-time torque management without requiring input from the driver.

The new Jeep Cherokee will be introduced in Jeep dealerships throughout Europe beginning the second quarter of 2014, in the Longitude, Limited and Trailhawk trim levels. The engine offer comprises the efficient 2.0-liter Multijet II turbo diesel delivering 170 horsepower. This engine will be matched with the new nine-speed automatic gearbox, which is used for the first time in the mid-size SUV segment. A 140 horsepower version of the 2.0-liter engine will also be available in combination with a six-speed manual transmission. The European lineup also includes the 3.2-liter V-6 Pentastar petrol engine paired to the new nine-speed automatic transmission. In Russia and the Middle East, a Sports trim level is available in the new Cherokee range and the new automatic gearbox is offered in combination with the 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir I-4.

The DESIGN
The new Jeep Cherokee boasts a cutting-edge, revolutionary design and features world-class craftsmanship and exclusive technological contents. Sleek and athletic exterior lines project the Jeep design into the future and convey efficiency and aerodynamics without compromising the brand's stylistic heritage.

Jeep designers were inspired to create a vehicle that remains true to the brand while moving it into the next era with a shape that is as efficient as the vehicle and ages gracefully without losing the DNA that makes it a Jeep. Fluid, sleek exterior lines highlight the efficient, wind-splitting upper body of the Cherokee. The rugged, protective lower body conveys the legendary capability that is characteristic of every Jeep.

The new Jeep Cherokee has a powerful stance, an aggressive wheel-to-body proportion and a commanding road presence. The approach and departure angles contribute to the best-in-class capability.

A key element in the front of the new Jeep Cherokee is the 'waterfall' hood with the iconic peaked, seven-slotted grille which includes a crisp, horizontal snap - a feature found in many classic Jeep vehicles. The hood is clearly defined and separated from the front fenders in a modern interpretation of the brand's design heritage. Advanced LED lighting technology is used throughout the new Jeep Cherokee. Daytime running lamps (DRL) and available Xenon headlights (standard on Limited in selected markets only), enhance the unique proportions of the front.

The sides feature the signature Jeep trapezoidal wheel arches. The rear is highlighted by the contemporary full LED tail lamps, which are an integral part of the rear backlight graphic, making the vehicle look stronger yet harmonious. This shape is the connection between the upper and lower rear as an interlocking graphic statement that brings a unique presence specific to this new Cherokee. The rear fascia also carries Jeep Cherokee-specific rear fog lamps and reflex.

The new Cherokee rides on 17-inch (Longitude and Trailhawk) or 18-inch tires (Limited) providing drivers with confident traction in snow and wet conditions.

Lastly, Jeep Cherokee offers customers the possibility to enjoy an open-air driving experience thanks to the new CommandView dual-pane power sunroof that is available as an option on all trim levels. CommandView extends from the windshield to the rear of the vehicle, allowing for perfect views both on- and off-road.

All-new, premium interior
The Jeep brand's recent Grand Cherokee introduction set the foundation for a new direction in interiors that the new Cherokee builds upon. The interior is modern, welcoming and comfortable. It features a sophisticated, refined design, hand-sculpted forms, signature Jeep styling cues, high-quality materials, precision craftsmanship and attention to detail. The cabin is designed to offer the driver ultimate comfort with useful, easy-to-operate technology and clever storage.

Also in the development of the Cherokee's all-new interior, Jeep designers took inspiration from the brand's heritage. The signature trapezoidal plan view feature line is classic Jeep, reminiscent of the trapezoidal wheel arches on the exterior. The center stack bezel is inspired by the outline of the front grille of the 1940s Willys Jeep and continues the design language of its larger sibling, the Grand Cherokee.

Premium materials abound wherever the customer touches the vehicle - the door uppers, the center armrest and the upper instrument panel. Throughout the cabin, customers will find interior trim that is soft to the touch and pleasing to the eye. A vinyl-wrapped, stitched instrument panel brow is standard on all models and the stitching carries over to the center console armrest and front door armrests.

The new Jeep Cherokee is available with three interior trim choices inspired from exotic locations and landscapes around the world, such as Morocco, Grand Canyon and the Italian Mount Vesuvio.

The 2014 Jeep Compass is packed with standard features that provide value and convenience for drivers and passengers. Standard features include air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power/heated exterior mirrors, keyless entry, fog lamps, cruise control, illuminated cup holders, a removable/rechargeable light, outside temperature display, electronic stability control, front driver and passenger active head restraints, electronic roll mitigation, Hill-start Assist, front-seat-mounted side air bags, anti-lock disc brakes, 60/40 fold-flat rear seat and sunscreen glass.

The Jeep Compass continues to offer an All-weather Capability Group option which includes Goodyear 17-inch all-terrain tires, all-season floor mats, daytime running headlamps, engine block heater and tow hooks, making the Compass the most capable compact SUV off-road and in all weather conditions.

6F24 six-speed Power Tech automatic transmission
Available for the first time in most 2014 Jeep Compass models is the world-class 6F24 six-speed automatic transmission. Independently developed by Power Tech and refined for application to the 2014 Jeep Compass, the six-speed automatic is fully electronic, and designed for fuel efficiency and improved performance.

The new six-speed transmission also helps reduce maintenance costs and the cost of ownership with its fill-for-life design. There is no transmission dipstick and transmission filter or fluid changes are not required under normal driving conditions. Low-viscosity fluid is used to improve fuel economy by enabling quicker operating temperatures on the transmission to reduce drag on internal components.

Design
The exterior of the 2014 Jeep Compass has been refined with specific updates that move the design forward. At the front of the Compass Latitude and Limited models the grille has been enhanced with a plated upper grille trim and mold-in-color Billet Silver grille texture. The halogen headlamps now have a black inner bezel on the Sport and Latitude models, and the Limited models sport projector halogen headlamps with a black inner bezel and chrome fog lamp bezels. The Compass also features painted mirror caps, taillamps with a new "smoked" inner bezel, a plated chrome insert on the tailgate trim applique, new available 18-inch aluminum wheels on Limited models, and a new plated chrome insert with recessed "Jeep" badge on the tailgate trim applique for models equipped with the available rear backup camera.

For 2014, the Jeep Compass interior has been tastefully upgraded with accents and trim that customers will appreciate. Upgraded features include a new interior trim option in the Compass Limited model: Saddle Brown perforated leather seating with accent stitching. The Latitude model includes a new sport mesh and vinyl seat with light gray accent stitching, and the Light Pebble Beige trim features a new Tangerine accent stitch on the seats. In addition, the armrests and center console lid are now wrapped in vinyl and the instrument cluster overlay graphics have been updated. New satin chrome finish adorns the center bezel, shifter bezel and pull cups and a new bin applique with badge round out the interior design upgrades.

Jeep Grand Cherokee EU-Version, 2014

Since its first market introduction in 1992, Jeep® Grand Cherokee has been delivering the values of freedom, authenticity, adventure and passion of the brand. Premium Large SUV of the Jeep lineup, Grand Cherokee represents its standard in terms of power, comfort, innovation and craftsmanship.

With the introduction of Jeep Grand Cherokee, more than two decades ago, Jeep reinvented the premium Sport-utility vehicle (SUV) segment and set a new standard within the category. Today, after nearly 5 million sales worldwide, the most awarded Large SUV ever continues to evolve and features a new exterior and interior design, new advanced technological contents and enhanced on-road and off-road manners thanks to its all-new eight-speed automatic transmission. Fitted as standard across the entire lineup, the new gearbox significantly reduces consumption and emissions while improving acceleration and securing smoother and faster gear shifting.

New exterior and interior design features characterize each single trim level of the 2014 lineup in a unique way and include new bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a new design for the wheels and new interior/exterior color combinations.

New, handcrafted interiors deliver now even more refinement to the Jeep flagship thanks to the use of premium materials such as Natura Plus leather and high-quality wood. The introduction of a new three-spoke steering wheel add to the exclusive character of the cabin.

New contents are also offered in terms of infotainment, offering the new UConnect with 8.4-inch touchscreen and satellite navigation and the all-new for the brand 7" TFT customer configurable cluster display. Exclusive feature of both the top-of-the-range Summit model and the high-performance Grand Cherokee SRT model is a state-of-the-art nineteen-speaker, 825-watt Harman Kardon surround sound audio system.

Legendary Jeep capability comes courtesy of three four-wheel drive systems - Quadra-Trac II, Quadra-Drive II and SRT-exclusive Quadra-Trac -, the Jeep Quadra-Lift air suspension and the Selec-Terrain and Selec-Track traction management systems.

The new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers the most advanced safety features, including updated Forward Collision Warning with Crash Mitigation and all-new Selec-Speed Control: both complement the vehicle's already rich array of standard active and passive safety system.

The new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee will be introduced across European markets starting in July 2014 and will be available in the Laredo, Limited, Overland and SRT trim levels as well as with a more exclusive Summit top of the range model.

DESIGN
For 2014, the Jeep Grand Cherokee receives an updated style: all trim levels have been given a more premium look and are readily recognisable at a glance. On all models, the signature seven-slot grille is shorter in height, the headlights are slimmer and the lower front fascia has been slightly elevated while the fog lights have been raised and are more pronounced. All together, these changes give the front end of the Grand Cherokee a more elegant, sportier appearance while still preserving Jeep's signature features.

The main design enhancement for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee are the new high-intensity discharge bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights (DRL), offered as standard on all trim levels. The Summit and SRT models feature adaptive HID bi-xenon headlamps with LED lighting.

The rear of the new Grand Cherokee has also received changes and boasts new, larger tail lamps with LED lighting, a larger and more aerodynamic rear spoiler, new bumpers and a re-sculpted tailgate that offers greater visibility. Lower rear fascias are now model-specific, and dual exhaust tips are now standard on Limited, Overland and Summit models.

A new design of the wheels and new interior/exterior color combinations complete the main exterior styling news found on the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and further enhance its image of quality.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo exteriors are identified by body-color side mirrors and door handles. The grille receives a chrome headlight treatment while the rear fascia features the new signature tail lamp design. Laredo also rides on standard five-spoke 18-inch aluminum wheels painted Satin Chrome.

Grand Cherokee Limited models add to the Laredo look bright door handles and a chrome trimmed dual exhaust outlet. An all-new chrome trim outlines also the lower front fascia opening and the rear bumper.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland features several body-color design cues including the lower fascia trim on the front and rear of the vehicle. The body-color trim carries over to the wheel arches and wheels surround. The lower rocker panels also receive a body color treatment. Overland models boast polished 20-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels with Mineral Gray painted pockets.

The new Grand Cherokee Summit model tops the range and receives many unique styling cues. The bi-xenon HID signature headlamps are adaptive, and swivel in conjunction with the steering wheel. This improves visibility around bends and turns and enhances safety on board Grand Cherokee. Between the lamps is a chrome finish on the upper grille's mesh pattern. The entire lower fascia is unique and features a pronounced chrome trim similar in design to the one on the Grand Cherokee SRT model. The front bumper is larger and features a slimmer opening for the projector fog lamps compared with other models. Body-color wheel arch moldings are also larger in comparison to other models and a Dark Gray lower rocker trim panel with a chrome strip runs along the top edge of the rocker. This chrome accent helps to visually lengthen the side view of the new Grand Cherokee. The rear fascia is dominated by dual rectangular exhaust outlets and Dark Gray lower body cladding. These features are unique to Summit models. Satin Clear Coat 20-inch aluminum wheels are a unique-to-Summit twin five-spoke design.

In line with its sporty character, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT model features a black, seven-slot front grille. Also the adaptive, bi-xenon headlamps feature a unique black background to distinguish SRT from other 2014 Grand Cherokee models. This black treatment contributes to further highlight the unique SRT aggressive appearance.

The SRT's front treatment is mirrored in the back for a cohesive styling appearance: here the tail lamps with signature LED lighting offer a black surround to further emphasize the SRT's performance heritage. Also new for 2014 is a more aerodynamically efficient rear spoiler integrated into the all-new, one-touch liftgate adorned with new SRT badge. Rather than relying on a manual lever, the liftgate is operated electronically with the push of a button.
Exclusive to SRT are standard 20-inch Black Vapor Chrome aluminum wheels with five-spoke design.
Aggressive 20-inch five-spoke bright polished Goliath aluminum wheels are available as optional only on the SRT trim level.
